Refinishing Furniture

Last October Ryan and I were garage sale shopping in portville and we found a Lane cedar chest that was really cheap, but painted white with a terrible flower clothe on the top. I thought oh how easy we will strip it and make it beautiful for so cheap!
Well note to self- its alot harder than you would think. And ALOT longer than you would think. I would estimate that I spent 5-6 hours stripping the white paint, Ryan spent 5-6 nights glueing, sanding, staining, and polyurethening it.

But in the end it turned out nice. Next time I would consider just buying new :)
