I hope everyone had a lovely labor day. mine was very nice. I slept a lot of the weekend trying to get rid of my cold. I still have a lot of poison coming up when I cough but I am feeling better.
Saturday afternoon Ryan and I and his parents went on a 4 hour 4-wheeling trip. it was a lot of fun, the first time we have really ridden it far. we went all over. it was nice to see that we can go on trails and not just around the house. we found a trail that takes you to spragues!! there was a sign in the woods pointing to spragues, very cool.
we had an eventful weekend, Saturday when we went to cook our dinner in the oven it decided it did not want to heat up. we have been having trouble with it taking forever to heat up and finally it pooped out. sooo Monday we went with our trusty home depot card and bought a new stove. I cant believe how much some stoves are. They range from $350 TO $1799. CRAZY. I wanted the $350 one for obvious reasons, but we actually got one that has no holes around the burners for food to fall into. Its very nice. we now have 12 months to pay it off. :)
I cleaned my bedroom so good, I can see the top of my dresser again. I went through all my jewelry and got rid of some things, I still cant get rid of my plastic ring collection. there are some great rings in that! And I'm thinking someday if I have little girls they would just love them. So I kept my polly pocket rings and my hello kitty stamp rings. But I did get rid of a lot of junk. I'm so proud of myself.
I also got some new pictures up and reorganized my kitchen to put stuff in the basement that we got for our wedding that we STILL haven't used, like linen napkins.... I think those will be a thanksgiving use only item.
Sunday night Ryan and I went to the drive-in- we saw red eye and skeleton key. They were both really good. I would recommend both.
so overall it was a very productive weekend.
