weekend update

Is this not the cutest picture ever??? i had forgotten i even took it until last night when i uploaded my pictures.


Friday night ryan and i went to see the shooter. it was very good, if you like the tv show 'the unit' like we do then you will love it. its about an ex-marine who survives with nothing and also happens to go against an army who is trying to kill him.


Saturday night we went to Geneseo to see ryans cousin in a south asian play. Which he sang/danced in. He also wrote the storyline and choreographed most of it. There was only indian food served. I thought it was pretty good. Most everyone else was disgusted with the food. We videotaped the whole thing, in case anyone is interested in seeing it.


Then yesterday we did a bunch of work on the drop ceiling in the basement. Soon i will have some more pictures of the basement.

st pattys day recap

so the st pattys day party went off without a hitch. well it was a pretty slow start actually. at 9 only 3 people had showed up and that was it until about 11am. Then it was kind of a romper room for a few hours. We had 5 kids here, and 4 dogs. The party party started probably at 3. By then though Jr and Ryan were very drunk. almost the drunkest i have ever seen jr.
At 7 we decided to go into olean, we went to the parkwood and ordered pizza. I swear ryan had at least a dozen pieces. needless to say i used all my flexpoints in one day.
Ryans parents decided they were leaving and we decided to save the $15 cab ride and go home. good thing cause ryan passed out on the couch immediately. All in all it was a good day. and the basement didnt get wrecked :)

Basement Update

SO we worked alot on the basement the last few days and we got the carpet- so its changed quite a bit.

Yes the upstairs living room will be like a sitting room, we will have a tv in but it will be a smaller one. so its like a living room and a tv room.

I cant believe that they snubbed syracuse out of the NCAA tournament. OH I AM SO PISSED. I was in shock when i hear that.

anyways besides that, we got soo much work done on the basement this weekend, i even helped. we primed and painted most of the walls, there is one section ryan still has to finish the drywall. we got the tile in and grouted, thanks to junior. and we ordered the carpet that will be here wednesday. The only major thing is the drop ceiling, not sure when that will be finished/started.

But we are gearing up for the big part-ee this weekend. can't wait

St Patricks Day

Is a week and a half away....i'm so excited. I have convinced ryan to dye his goatee green again. How cool is that?? Maybe i can dye linus and murphy green too.

i got two pieces back from my pottery class glazed. they are nice, i'm not super good with the glaze yet, so they arent great. But i'm working on it. I have 4 more getting fired now with glaze and two more. My goal for the class is to make something NOT lopsided.

Our dance lessons were alot of fun. there was a mix of old people and young people, but definately more on the old side. We remembered alot of the steps though, its like riding a bike. And its more fun now because we dont have a set dance and we can just play around.

today we start our dance lessons too. i'm so excited.

well we finally got our computer back and its working soooo fast. i'm going to post some pictures from the last few months. oh and in case anyone is wondering- i didnt update survivor cause i dont want to get a nasty gram from becky cause she hasnt seen it yet.

so dont fret this week i will update the survivor pool. and becky needs to update the amazing race one too.

this weekend was pretty uneventful, we watched our shows and click on friday night. saturday worked on the basement all day- then went to the new bar that opened in portville. the ONLY bar in portville i should add. We had dinner. it was very good food. we definately will visit there again. today is more basement work. the only problem with the basement work is i cant scrapbook while they are working. can't wait until its done.

dog daze of winter

So we had quite an adventurous weekend with the dogs. First off Saturday I gave Murphy a new rawhide. Linus persisted to bark at Murphy because she wanted the rawhide. So I gave patty and Linus each a rawhide. Linus immediately ran into the living room dropping her rawhide to go after Murphy's. Well Murphy started to bite Linus, had her in his mouth. I freaked out of course. So I grabbed Murphy's collar and tried to pry Linus out of the mouth, once out of Murphy's mouth Linus went back after Murphy. Murphy then bite my leg cause it got in the way. he left a terrible bruise and a cut. He went right through my jeans. I'll post pictures as soon as my computer is fixed. Ryan then gave murphy quite a licking. I felt bad because I think I just got in the way, I don't think murphy intentionally bit me.

so that was saturday. This morning we were outside with murphy, he was running around the neighbors yard chasing a bird. Ryan was so excited. well all of the sudden I heard murphy screeching. Apparently he was looking up in the sky running, and ran right into the well pipe that sticks out about 2 feet from the ground. flipped him right over. He is not walking on his front paw even now. Ryan might have to take him to the vet tomorrow. I told ryan that it was his karma :)

pottery class

so this week i started my pottery class, its an 8 week class at the wellsville creative arts center. right near where i work. it was alot of fun. i tried atleast 4 pots and only 2 actually made it. but then i cut them in half to make sure the thickness was good. next week i should be able to keep one of them i hope. it was so fun though. the place is so cool too, its a coffee house/art place. they have lots of classes. it reminds me a bit of zopies and starbucks in one. oh and an art class. too bad no ska bass player works there. :)

no tv again this week.

we are headed to syracuse for the weekend and taking off monday so we can watch the superbowl up there. i bet grammy, grampy, and auntie b cant wait for the pom poms and the beast :)

no tv week

so this week ryan and i have sworn off two things, tv and beer. i am not allowed to watch tv and ryan is not allowed to drink beer. so far we have got alot done this week. we are trying to finish the basement and i am suppose to be helping. its hard though not watching my shows. on the weekend i can catch up though. tonight we get to watch 1 show - grey's cause our DVR can only handle two shows... so that is nice.
we are also going to bed early which i love. i wonder how long this will last. i am hoping a month. but we will see, ryan loves his beer. :)

shrimpies

i think thats how you spell it... anyways plural shrimp. thats what we won. 6 lbs of shrimp. we were lucky. i wanted some lobsta tail and filets but we didnt win that.
and its a steak and shrimp raffle, i'm sure little ol'olean isnt the only place that has them. i bet snobby manlius has them :P
overall the night was fun, we drank free beer, well i didnt since i was dd. but everyone else did. ate a lot of really good food. and won some shrimp. so we'll bring shrimp to the super bowl party this year.

so are you doing the amazing race pool becky??? i think you should.

SNOW!!!

we have over a foot of snow- it is so nice! we played last night after work with the pups in the snow and then again this morning. Linus and Murphy just love it. Patty not so much. She sits by the fence waiting to get back in. she is such a princess sometimes. we video taped the playing today. I've never seen Murphy so happy.
And Ryan got to use the plow on the 4-wheeler too. since we bought that plow i think we have only needed to use it 4 times.

Today i need to get some pictures copied and go to the grocery store. we are out of everything. tonight we are going to some raffle at the high school. should be a good time i suppose.

we saw Over the Hedge last night, i thought it was pretty good. funny. and it was only an hour which was a bonus. then we watched Ricky bobby. i thought that was good too. next netflix i have coming is breakfast at tiffanys. I'm so excited to see that one.
