I watched survivor last night, even though becky already ruined it for me. i'm so mad stephenie got voted off, they are so dumb. if I was her, when I was walking off to get my torch put out I would have turned around and said "F-you all you idiots, now Tom is going to win" definitely not "good luck".
I went and saw reel big fish Thursday night, the show was very good. brought back so many memories of hungry charlies :) there weren't too many people there though. I guess when the band is 6 years old and the people at st bonaventure were only 12 that the turnout wont be great. they have a new album out- i've ordered it already. they have some really funny songs on it.
I have another linus is from mars story. I bought her some tablets that are suppose to deter her from eating poop and i gave her her first pill last night. I have never had to give linus medicine before so i wasnt sure if i had to shove it down her throat like i do for patty (and buster was the same way) so i thought well shes crazy maybe she will just swallow it. so i acted like it was a treat and made her sit- then gave it to her and she just chomped away at it. loved it! hopefully it works so i dont have to get licked by poopy face anymore

Its finally friday!!
This week seemed to be forever long. Not even sure what i am doing this weekend besides homework but i'm excited to sleep in. We were going to til our garden but it suppose to be cold and rainy all weekend. maybe even snow.
My tulips are up! and i think my daffodils are coming up too. i cant wait to get my gnomes and glass ball out.
Some more work got done on the shed last night, it looks like a building now- i'll send out some more pictures this weekend.

busy week
well this has been a very busy week... i haven't been able to drive my bug since sunday! ugh. I have been ordering all the parts i need to get it on the road though- i still need to get tires. But i think i will wait till i take it to inspection before i do that. My mechanic got me a good deal on tires before so hopefully he will again.
tonight we are going to put lanolium in our bathroom and tear up the carpet. i can't wait. i HATE carpet in the bathroom.
last night on the amazing race the gay guys got eliminated. i liked them- i was hoping that dumb gretchen would get voted off. Don't you think its a lot harder to push a huge elephant when her dumb ass is sitting in it?!!?! Then later in the show she was complaining about how slow their elephant was?! they annoy me so much. It was a bad week for gay people on reality shows.... first coby got voted off surivior and now the amazing race.
it has been so nice and warm here this week, 75 yesterday and 70 today. its going to rain though and then this weekend is suppose to be cold again. like high in the 40s or 50s.
I finished another scrapbook on Monday, so i have one more on my list to do then i am taking a break for real.
Oh i heard the most upsetting news on monday, a friend of ours has a mini-dachsund and on friday it was bit by another dog in its own yard - they took it to the vet but the vet couldnt save her and she died! I have never heard of such a thing, very upsetting because i dont think my patty is much bigger than their dog. Linus on the other hand i am not worried about. how sad....

lessons
Well it's sunday and I offically own a 1974 VW beetle. We didnt get the back to our house until midnight friday night. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to get to Bellwood because we had to stop in BRadford to drop off the 4 wheeler and then we got detoured because a train had set a fire and closed a road. The best part is that when PA closes a road they dont give you a detour route and the gas stations dont sell PA maps. Luckily we still found my bug.
Well we get there and the guy has 3 bugs, my very nice condition green one and 2 other old parts looking bugs.
The bug was too long for the trailer to close so we had to take the trailer ramps off and hold the bug in with straps. It was a very stressful ride home because the whole time i was waiting for the bug to fall off the back. So we got home safely and just left it on the trailer til the next morning. Then at 9 the next morning we had to take it off the trailer and put the trailer back together to return it to ryans grandpa- it took about 30 minutes to get the car from the bottom of the street into the garage. I think i stalled about 13 times. I realized I need a little std practice before I can go in public. It doesnt help that the gas pedal is broken off and all i have to step on is a little metal piece AND that the seat wont move up and i cant reach the clutch without seating halfway up the seat. but i still love it.
Last night ryan and i decided we needed to ride it again and so i took it over to Wolf creek rd with no insurance, no registration, no inspection, no plates. not risky at all. oh and bad tires :).
it was so much fun though- i got the hang of the shifting and only stalled once. it was sooo much fun. i just love it.

Tomorrow i'm going to get my bug!! i have to go get the money order today, i think getting that makes it feel more official. Ryan and I are leaving here about 3 so we might make it back still in the daylight. I will take pictures of it- dont worry. i forgot too i'm going to have to get it inspected since its coming from PA. hope it passes...
last night i shoveled gravel forever because this winter the plow people put it all in our lawn. oh the troubles of owning a house. but luckily we have a 4-wheeler cause i was able to haul the gravel to the driveway. This weekend i will probably do some more. we have probably 3 more loads to do. The nieghbor kid helped me last night too. just out of nowhere he comes with a shovel. normally i cringe when i see him coming because he usually stays for hours at a time, but i was happy yesterday.
Linus has found her new sleeping spot- she sleeps under the bed hiding behind a pillow. Its so funny cause it took two times where i thought i lost her before i realized she was under the bed. Patty has never even gone under the bed - so this is something new. we have been training Patty and Linus for our hiking trips this summer, they can do about 2 miles no problem- we need to up to about 9 to hike with us though. i might need to look into a carrier for them.

finally...
well i think i finally got the pictures from this weekend (and 2 weekends ago) on Ofoto. I will send the link out to everyone today. It took 3 tries for my stupid computer to upload them. I hate my computer with a passion sometimes. Some days it works super fast and normal (like today) and then some days it is slower than death. so frustrating especially when you have time constraints and need something done.
I got my grade back on my presentation (A!!!) now i just have one case study to do on starbucks and i have a masters degree!! i should get that done probably in the next two weeks. This cinco de mayo is going to be the best one ever since i will also be celebrating never having to go back to bonas with all those stupid 5th years.

Leeking
Today, another beautiful sunny day, Ryan and I went digging for leeks in ryans parents neighbors woods. It was crazy, we drove into the woods on our four wheeler and all of these little green sprouts are leeks. The woods smelled sooo good. We picked a big 5 gallon bucket full. we still have to clean them up. But last night Aunt Kathy dropped by and gave us some she had picked, so we already have leek dip made.
yesterday all the poles for the MONSTER shed got put in, i had no idea it was going to be so big. i'll put some pictures up on OFOTO so everyone can see them. Then i went to see fever pitch with carrie and nicole. It was a very good movie. I recommend it highly- oops hope you don't read this becky before you go see it.
we are going to spragues now for dinner, its ryans granpa's 1 year anniversary. Crazy thats it been a year already, seems like yesterday. :)

sunny day
It is so sunny here today, it is not that warm out but it looks nice out. I'm going to walk the dogs tonight. they will just love me.
I finally finished my wedding scrapbook last night, its looks very good. Don't worry i will be showing everyone so that i can find out what your favorite page is :)
This weekend ryan is going to be putting posts in for our new shed. it is suppose to be nice all weekend. FINALLY. i need to get my new scrapbook started this weekend. And saturday night we are going to see Fever Pitch. Its playing at the Castle which sucks because it is always freezing in there and if it is raining outside it rains in the theater too.

I just won a 1974 kelly green VW beetle on ebay!! i'm so excited. it has a little rust but nothing major. it has all new seats both front and back. It will need new tires and some carb. work. Ryan and I are going to go get it next friday.
Its been my dream my whole life to have one of these. i'm giddy with excitement. ryan thinks now that i have an old one i can get rid of my new one and buy an suv.... but i think he is mistaken.
I will have my current beetle paid off in 2 more payments so i think i am going to keep it around for a while and not have any car payments.
how exciting!!!!!!!

Lights out!
So last night after taking Patty and Linus for a long walk ryan and I sit down in our living room to eat dinner and watch TV. However the NEW ceiling fan/light wont work. all the other lights work but not either NEW fan. One in the office and the one in the living room. Sooo what else do we do but call my dad. He thinks a wire could have loosened up in the attic. So reluctantly ryan goes into the attic after i have to kill all the power in the house so that ryan will feel safe. So i'm sitting in the dark hoping whatever ryan is doing will make the lights go on. but after 2 tries nothing. Ryan then decides that all he can do is re-wire the WHOLE box in the attic, which he thinks will take 20-30 minutes. So i have to hold the lantern for him and i have to get in the attic with insulation and rat poop and sit on the 2" side of a 2x4 for an hour! We decided if this now perfect wiring job didnt work we would have to call ryans grandpa (also an electrician). But i was convinced it would work.
So i turn all the power back on and slowly walk up the stairs from the basement because i can already tell that the living room light still isnt on. so the night of relaxing has turned into and hour and a half of playing with wires. It turns out after another phone call to my dad that the same box is connected to our bathroom and then it clicks earlier that morning i was playing with the outlet in the bathroom, the test, reset buttons. I think when i figured it out Ryan wanted to kick me :) that was the problem all along. We even missed half of American Dreams. I was so pissed.
That was our exciting Wednesday night. I NEVER want to spend a night in our attic again, thank you.

Pheew
Well I went to the doctor yesterday because my mother has scared me into thinking I have cancer on my foot. My doctor took x-rays and its soft tissue - nothing is there. He said it is just irritated and to wear shoes that don't bother the bump. So no surgery, just new shoes. The Dr's office must think I am a hypochondriac.
I watched the Amazing Race last night, and I liked that it was 2 different episodes back to back (eh hem, becky) and I am so glad we don't need to see the abuse of that couple of Ray and Deena. It was horrible to watch him. And why did he never drive?!!! It was funny that they went from first to elimination. I do love watching the gay couple and how much they hate Rob and Amber, cause frankly I can't stand them either. I hope they lose.

Easter
Happy Easter to everyone! I have the cutest Hello Kitty easter baskets, three of them now. Last night we colored the eggs and put the Hello Kitty plastic masks on them.
We also had a bunch of people over for game night. We played catch phrase and cranium. I'm not sure we played cranium correctly but we were atleast close. Ryan and I were the winners! we had to spell receipt backwards to win, thank god ryan can spell.

Today we are going over to Ryans grandparents for Easter Dinner. I have already eaten all my malt balls and almost all of the cadbury eggs. Not to mention the 4 bags of chips we ate while playing games last night, and the 64,000 beers that got drank. I think I will gain 15 pounds this weekend.
I do hope that Cath isn't mean and Becky gets to go to church today.

my first time
Oh how exciting! I have my very own blog- I don't even know what to write about now. I was inspired to have a blog because my sister Becky has one. So if it is boring and sucks, blame her.
Today is friday for me since we finally get Good Friday off. yippeee! Last night was survivor and oh I better not say who got voted off just in case somebody hasn't watched it yet and doesn't want to know that Ethan won. But let's just say I am glad this person was voted off.
This week is project week at our house, my dad is visiting to install some ceiling fans and light fixtures and fix my garage door opener. Home Depot is getting all my hard earned money too.
